I watched the interview, it gave some good insight into the whole dynamic with JPM shorting the market (that they control) for the last decade, and how they're no longer holding a short position and might even be switching to a long position.
I pretty much understood that dynamic already though. What I'd like to know more about is the specific play from last night. I was watching the whole time. The price went from $24 up to $26. Then in less than a minute, it dropped back down to $24. Then it wiggled, and then dropped down to $22. Then it went right back up to $24.
I'd like to understand more about that specific play. How does that destroy both the long and short positions one right after the other, and why do it? I'm guessing that since it started and ended right around $24, that they wouldn't be at risk of having to actually deliver much if anything? What was the purpose of that maneuver? Was it just making a quick one-off profit (and if so please explain in layman's terms how) or is it part of a larger strategy?
Thank you, and I apologize for my lack of knowledge regarding derivatives speculation, it's never been on my radar except as a contributing factor to the price I pay for physical Ag.

My personal resistance level used to be $20.
Now it's $24-$26 depending on generic, ASE, or how much I want a particular design.
I'll probably continue to adjust depending on incoming info. I guess it hinges on what I think the cause is, and where I think it'll go in the near future and where I think it will go in the medium far future.
If it's just swings based on speculation and virus/economic slowdown fears, I'll hold back and wait for dips/corrections to buy heavily.
If it's the death throes of the USD and we're witnessing the rapid loss of buying power of fiat as we know it, I'll probably buy until supply dries up.

Also I think you might be right as far as they already touched on so many topics. He was kind of all over the place, but I agreed with a decent portion of what he was talking about. Sometimes he has seemingly contradictory stuff though. Heavily Christian sometimes, but then he'll put out coins that have stuff from other religions. Also, he talked about Trump's ties to Goldman Sachs and other banking cartels, and Israel etc... but then he put out a Trump 2020 coin. I'd actually like to drink a few beers with the guy and find out where he stands on a few things.
I heard he deleted everything except for one video and disappeared from YT for a while, but I also saw that he just reappeared and put up a new video. Haven't watched it yet though. I hope it means that there will be some new coins soon, and I hope that they're better than what's out right now. We'll see.
