Theres a needle threading case here. our boomers are just a tad older and more defunct than our Chinese counterparts. and theres a lot more of them. Thing is they're 10 years behind our boomers.
all we need is to last till around 2030, at which point half our boomers are dead, and china's are reaching full pensions. This is assuming our millenials are competant enough to hold the reigns. US has more millenials than anyone else.

assuming the chinese don't have super boomers that are particularly resiliant to old age. or the US millenials aren't grossly incompetant. US should be full bore into tearing down the vestigial bits, and the chinese will have their cancers at full bloat. at that point maybe we can get some fucking raw material out of the fucking ground so some motherfuckers can make it into some good non chinese shit. and we can dig ourselves out of this fucking debt dogma.dkhpvr
