because a lot of old coins are sterling (.925) or less. trying to figure out what i should pay for them based on silver value alone. but I suppose it doesn't work like that
got a .900 silver 5 reichsmark (quantity of one single coin, not five) 1936 recently for £10, was that a good price? it's only slightly more than the value of the silver in it.
