And she at first disliked getting called "Osaka" and thought it was incredibly dumb/stupid (manga) to call her that, and felt it was "ueeee desu" (anime), but then realized she could use to her advantage her classmates calling her that, by adopting a fake "Osaka" persona in order to gain acceptance from her new classmates and to more easily hide her true self from them -- she is severely depressed and suicidal; by pretending to be "Osaka" and LARP as an "Osakan", which she very early on realized was something Tomo and others liked; they had their ideas of what an "Osakan" would be like and they thought an Osakan would be fun and exciting to have in the class, and so Ayumu wanted to please them and realized she had a better chance of being liked by her new class if she played the role of an Osakan, played along with their idea of what such a person would be like. The seeds for this were sown in Ayumu's mind very early on when Tomo's expectations of her didn't match with reality and Tomo called her an "impostor" which made Ayumu scared and worried that she was going to be disliked; in that moment she realized if she pretended to be "Osakan" then it would be okay.
