People have put a million miles on a tesla already. Its fine. You only need a new battery every 250k miles if you keep the charge between 20% and 80%. And the cheaper EVs are in the $30k to $40k range. Just look at what happened in Norway. They don’t even sell new ICE vehicles anymore. I’m not a Tesla cultist, but the switch over is inevitable. I’m slurping Rivian at this dip, but I do have concerns that only Tesla and BYD will survive once the major auto makers offer comparable options. Which as of now only the Ford “Mustang” electric SUV is any good. But change is coming.
