I can attest to this. LAST summer I was getting non-stop recruiters reaching out. They where generally pretty polite as well. A lot of the roles were also contract to hire or direct hire roles, salary ranges were really good as well.

Now? These staffing recruiters are rude as hell. Attitude, showing late to scheduled calls. Roles are now temporary contracts with shit pay compared to before. And a vast majority of roles are now hybrid or on-site. The listings themselves are more abusive, with 3-4 different departments under one role and the interview process humiliations rituals have been turned up to 11 with pre-recorded interviews, BS assessment tests, and other nonsense.

I'm in marketing so its no secret that industry is fucking stupid but things have felt off for months. Getting fired now is a death sentence. It's brutal out there.
