Resi landlords are retarded, commercial landlords are half and half cause some are negative gearing but it's cause they overpriced for a property with land that's going to be permitted for highrises when the metro station gets built in the next decade, til then it's a game of "hope it makes me enough money to cash in and build a shitty highrise", majority are just boomers who have been holding for decades and making bank from the inflation.
