Is it possible to be more than average without a college degree? I've been working in HVAC for almost 6 years now and have never found a job that pays more than $17/hour. Those who say they make $70-100K in a trade are full of shit or just got lucky. I live in DFW too, where HVAC is in big demand.

Should I go to college? I'm tired of not being able to afford reliable cars without getting a loan or to not be able to invest properly. What money I have left over after bills usually go to an emergency fund or fixing up my house (bought a fixer upper with inheritance money).

What do? Will I ever make more than $17/hour? I'm thinking of either going to college part time or considering a career change to property management. My fishing buddy makes close to $70K a year managing a building in downtown Dallas and he's a Mexican with a GED. This isn't fair.

I'm 21. GED, no education, no experience. How do I get a job? I've failed interviews at Wal-Mart and McDonald's because I'm a social retard. I was thinking of labor. There's a temp agency hiring for shipping and receiving but they require a resume. What do I write?
