I tried explaining it. Most people refuse to learn how to buy crypto on coinbase let alone binance. One of my friends is depressed has no money is trying to start a business unsuccessfully and thinks he'll die a pauper. I explained chainlink to him and why smart contracts are such a big deal. His argument is that he had too little money to make any investments. The stupidest argument ive ever heard. Most people won't listen. At most they'll admit blockchain has some use cases but won't invest because they view it as gambling.

Chainlink is no longer the obscure oracle project. Congratulations to my fellow marines who have held since SIBOS 2017. If anyone tells you that you guys got lucky, just know that there are people on this planet who know what it was like to hold this token through to a better life. It may have been luck to stumble upon LINK, but it took more than luck to make the decision everyday to not sell and focus on the facts. Blockchains are nothing without oracles, and Chainlink is the best oracle system on planet earth.
