I don't think I can overstate this. People couldn't figure out what was happening and why everything was breaking down. The most intelligent and capable people in finance and economics DO NOT settle for a government job. The government had to look to those people IN THE BANKING SYSTEM to explain to them what was going on, and how to stop it.

At least, that's what I think. I haven't seen all the documentaries or read any of the books though.

Christ... the fact that it's not going to hit africa hard is even better for the chinese. I don't buy the conspiracies, but it really has been amazingly good for them.
