nigger, it's minimum $1700 a month where I live for a decent apartment and I live in an absolute shithole city. I can't imagine living in LA SF Chicago or NYC, or even cities on the cusp of being a big city. It's fucking insane.

Also these faceless corporations that own all the apartment buildings raised their rent last year and it will NEVER go back down, even if inflation eventually "goes down" (they will just stop using rent/housing costs as a measure for inflation)
