The financial authorities in countries that matter have decided that DEXes and pretty much anything else that moves value is going to have to comply with financial regulations. This means not just KYC/AML but also sanctions compliance etc. but also things like adhering to the travel rule. Suing Uniswap is going to set precedent and force every project in crypto to implement a compliance layer if they want to do business in a G7 country. Some people may fork the code that these projects created and build parallel economies but it's never going to achieve the same levels of capitalization and you'll have to live like a fugitive to use it (this is fine for some people who got into it for reasons other than money).

I'm all in on compliance projects because I don't wanna deal with this shit.
