I actually found the clip

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/cnn-plays-montage-of-stephen-moore-calling-for-the-gold-standard-after-saying-hes-not-for-it/

But looks like Stephen Moore has recently withdrawn his name from contention due to (((threats))) and (((attacks on his family))).

Regardless, the intention is still there. Trump wants us back on a gold/PM standard, that much is clear. But will he be able to do it, that is the question.

We can have a revaluation without the whole system collapsing. I know boomer austrians have been calling it for decades but at some point the debt must be purged. If anyone is going to do it, it will be Trump. He's going to slay the Fed.

He doesn't need to end it outright, and he knows this. All he needs to do is enact legislation that will increase transparency of the Fed's actions. It's similar to the way he broadcasted his recent meeting with Pelosi and Schumer, which highlighted the fact that neither of them actually want to reach a compromise with the president. "Publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants;" Schedule FULL audits on a regular basis. This way you are proposing a solution that is indisputably part of everyone's best interest. If transparency is enacted and the Fed survives, we are better off. If it fails, THEN he has just cause to step in and nationalize or otherwise deconstruct the entity.

He has been very outspoken about his disdain for the Fed's policy decisions. If things really fall apart, Trump is honestly autistic enough to step in and completely revamp/nationalize the Fed.
