Why the fuck do most linkies think the will make "passive income" from staking? This is not a proof of stake type of concept, staking is not profitable on its own, it's just an insurance for the customer side that wants data from you. You don't own any exclusive data and you aren't capable of running a full ETH node and a chainlink node at >99.9% uptime. And even if you were, you'd probably blindly serve some scam smart contract that would steal all your LINK because you can't even read a smart contract.

What I'm seeing here is that a lot of nulinkers but also old ones misunderstand Chainlink's staking concept, the demand for LINK to be staked won't be there because there's not a sufficient supply of node operators. Every neet and pajeet will flock to them and beg them to take their LINK for a piece of their revenue but they'll be covered by Sergey anyways. Only chance for you right now is probably Linkpool but even that has a LONG TERM limit of 10k LINK per 1 LP.

My hypothesis: Staking is probably on the table this year but most LINK holders (normies and le neet node marines) at this point are confused about what it actually means. Upon the initial pump and hype the reality will set in because the vast majority of holders will not be able to run a node profitably (maybe some can set up one but their reputation and quality of data will be so low that they won't get any jobs) or won't find a place to "stake" their linkies in as there simply will be way too much LINK wanting to be staked and not enough demand for it. Then, we'll enter a bear market for LINK as normies lose interest as their passive income dream bubble popped and we will form a bottom at around 200$ per LINK. From there oldfags and techy nufags will stay as usual and ride future LINK pumps without the retards that are incoming right now.

It's fomo but I took a loan and am this close to getting another loan for 150k. $60k isn't that crazy when you see how much people throw into shitty scams. Look at the volume on fucking uniswap. I figured 10mn is enough to retire on if we hit something crazy like 500mm but 20mn is even better and I can get by on with half that much. I might not catch a 10x on it but I expect at least a 3x. It might take a while but I have no required payments and interest is low enough I'm willing to risk it and wait for appreciation. Then I'll go from seven years of xsn rewards to repay it to something like one year. It might dump but you have to take risks if you want stupid gains. The memedonalds pic is nice for daydreaming but I am only counting on block rewards. Old stare disproven fud but I'm still skeptical about hydra, just sounds too good to be true.
