>Have 8 job interviews scheduled between tomorrow and Friday

Ranging from WFH analyst jobs to stocker jobs. I'll either be moving up or staying a Walmart wagie

It's weird knowing your financial and social future fully depends on what socioeconomic class your parents are at. If you're born into an upper middle class family you'll live in a nice suburbs, go to school with future white collar workers, meet daughters of managers and CEOs, and have higher expectations overall. If you're born in a lower class family, then you're expected to just work blue collar or manual labor or retail, your friends will be of similar jobs, you will only meet women from Walmart or Target or a grocery store, you will think living in a squalor is normal.

>Apply for a technical job
>Have to memorize STAR questions, buy a suit and tie and get an expensive haircut
>Have to do multiple interviews where you can't pause or stutter once or they won't hire you.

Sometimes I think I should have just became one of those Walmart wagies or grocery wagies stocking shelves and living that lifestyle of not caring

One of my neighbors did a bootcamp course that took six months and he got a job in the tech industry within a year of graduating. I thought coding was dead?

I'm going to get my graduate certificate to help my career. It's gonna be paid for by my union. What should I study?

I stopped aggressively saving for retirement after I had a near death experience. What's the point of saving for something that's not 100% certain. You're financially missing out on life

Company got taken over
>went from $24/hr working 50 hrs a week to $60k salary while working 50 hrs a week
>went from getting $900 a month gas and car allowance to getting a cheap Camry
>went from 2% sales commission to 1%

Looks like I need to start looking for a new job

How do people without families recover financially from major life crisis? I had a major health scare and I had to move back in with my parents for a few months and they gave me money to get back up and I still struggled for months to feel financially secured

Moving back in with my parents will save me $2500-$3000 a month. Why shouldn't I move back in for a year or two or three and save up? It financially makes sense

Financially speaking, I'm very close to moving back in with my parents just to save up a decent down payment for a house. I can realistically save $3000 a month instead of $500

>The most financially successful people in my graduating class were the middle class kids
>The rich kids ended up working regular jobs while splitting time with their parents business
>The poor kids ended up filling the retail/grocery manual labor jobs
