My polite need to reciprocate got the better of me. I should have ignored him and moved along, yes, because by that time the low quality of discussion he contributes would have been apparent. I didn't. I should have been more vigilant.

On the plus side, after days of seeing ticker mentioned, I finally know what they do. No consolation to you, I'm sure. But I feel like I learned something here, and in the end isn't that what we're all here to do... and make money... to learn things.
