Working on my own currency but i am at a roadblock in ratios. I call it the minecraft, unironically of course. If i make it denominations rationalized in at crustal abundance, then the pricing difference is outrageous but if i make the high denominations promise todays ratios [ratios at exchange in us dollars 2023] then my currency will get squeezed once the ratios of metal settle to a proper value. Copper nickel and zinc have a fairly similar abundance, then the next tier up for common metals was tin, but Britannia pewter melts too low rendering it laden into bronzes if chosen which would drive down its tin content to below 10% somewhat negating the inclusion of tin to begin with.
Higher worth coins = less coinodal encumbrance, remember when our mothers had coin purses?
