Kind of, I guess. I'm back in six figure hell since I was too pussy to sell or short, so I'm just taking it easy right now and traveling thrifty. I also don't have any kind of rent or mortgage payment, so the money I would have been spending on that is going towards hotels/airbnbs, so I'm not spending that much more than I would at home.

I probably could better optimize the money|travel stuff a bit better if I waited for the end of the bear market but I'm not getting any younger. I'm only in my early 30s and I'm already feeling my age. I can't just go go go nonstop anymore, I have to take rest days and time to relax. I probably couldn't do this kind of travel in my 40s even if I had more money. I'd simply get worn down. But that's why I'm going so hard now, so I can get it over and done with and in the future I won't have any regrets about things I didn't take the chance to do.

Italy is fantastic by the way, almost everyone speaks at least some English and there's tons of cool stuff to see. Once you figure out the trains it's also pretty convenient, so city hopping around is a pretty effective way to see all the cool stuff (and of course being Italy there's world-class art just lying around in small outlying cities everywhere north of Naples, so it's worth going outside the big cities).
