it sounds quite interesting the way you describe it
the more I read it, the more I understand that Jesus is this higher self you speak of and I'm always having conversations with him and asking questions and guidance and advice. The response comes in many forms, some explicit in the form of an inner voice or conscience and others explicit in the form of my outside reality revealing and showing me things
God really does work in mysterious and unknowing ways
I've learned a long time ago to take in the wisdom of men, but not to fully trust it
Instead my trust is placed in Jesus and his message for his truth doesn't perish and waver like the so-called wisdom of men does
