It's a spot ETF ... the the fund has to literally buy the bitcoin 1:1

it's literally an easy button for normies to buy bitcoin ... not "paper bitcoin" or "fractional reserve bitcoin," but actual bitcoin. Anyone who puts $500 a month toward this ETF in their 401(k), for example, would create consistent buy pressure of $500 a month in the actual bitcoin markets.

My boomer dad has asked me at least three times how to buy bitcoin. I think he wants to, but it's different and he's literally afraid he's going to screw it up. So he hasn't bought any. But you know what he does have? A Fidelity account and a financial planner. Once "buy bitcoin" is as easy as calling his broker, he's definitely going to be buying.

If you don't understand how a spot ETF means a literal ton more capital flowing in, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm just trying to understand your motivation for doing this. It's something I've never considered doing, and I have no twitter account nor do I care to, but it must be of a great importance to you since you post screenshots here so frequently. Why?

A/B's apologetic approach to transphobes is driving a boycott of A/B from trans allies.

Maybe they should have considered that much of their customer base are assholes, and partnering with a trans woman for a one-off promotion was a bad idea for their brand.
But once they did it, backpedaling and saying "sorry we didn't mean to offend the bigots" was such a stupid move because everybody in the middle and left are now avoiding A/B for showing their true colors.
