tl;dr. Small fries are hurt by ads because they're forced to mold their content into a silver plate that delivers ads first and content second.

Ads are the reason why mainstream media has gone to such shit, why social media has gone to shit, why youtube has gone to shit, etc. The list goes on. Not reading your justifications for it. Look at the current state of the internet and tell me ads are "good" for it. I'd much rather a less active internet like the old days where people only published content that was worth viewing on its own merit than masses pumping out content like a tsunami with clickbait just for the sake of making you see ads. Fuck modern internet, fuck ads, and most importantly fuck jannies. Not reading your post.

Okay then, stay. But CLF threads never last more than like 40 posts and you'll wonder why there's no activity.

No, but to be fair I do own some TSM for different reasons. I don't believe TSM has the same stability and growth as Cloudflare. TSM isn't a bad call, but it definitely is more of an investment vehicle in the sense of expectations that they're in the best position in the semiconductor space to make big moves sometime in the future.

Cloudflare has good projects up their pipeline. Their serverless hosting is pegged to be an actual threat to AWS.
https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/serverless/what-is-serverless/

This is likely to give them microboosts here and there as more companies adapt to it and snowball, but I personally don't feel it'll go up 10% overnight or anything. It's just the kind of stock that will "always go up" and rarely have any truly bad days. The upswing days will far outpace the bad days. The "dip" it took today after hours doesn't even put it below its price from 2 days ago.

Hey, /biz/. Desperate anon here.

I know this board is mainly for crypto shit at this point but I figured I'd ask for some advice.

I'd love to work remotely and I've been seeking remote employment opportunities but all I seem to find is the usual "call center customer support"-esque remote jobs where you take calls at home. Is there anything out there you guys can recommend that would be something along the lines of data entry, etc? No experience required preferably and no talking on a damn phone to people.

I might just be complete shit at searching for remote jobs online. Thanks!

Hmm. I was basing that assessment off of https://www.youtube.com/user/ShaneDawsonTV/videos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid because I had thought that he had had diminishing returns, but it seems that he has pulled in steady viewership since 2008.
https://www.youtube.com/user/smosh/videos?flow=grid&view=0&sort=da would support the idea of less viewership, but it is really minuscule differences. Smosh still has millions of views even on their most recent videos.
https://www.youtube.com/user/nigahiga/videos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid it is same case with nigahiga aka Ryan Higa.

However, the difference is that these are comedian vloggers, not just video game streamers. So here I will compare apples to apples and go on yogscast: https://www.youtube.com/user/BlueXephos/videos?flow=grid&view=0&sort=dd

Ok, it seems that I was wrong. As long as you keep pumping out entertaining & well-edited content, you will retain viewership. The main variable here is if you know the needs of your audience and how often/if you will decide to change the format of the show.
