It only just occurred to me that the Ukraine war is being utilised as a pivot by fossil fuel companies to push for more fossil fuel projects under the guise of shortfalls and supply issues due to the Ukraine war.

Slapping sanctions on Russia made no sense but it does make sense if you want to hit 2 birds with 1 stone:

1. Decrease Russia's influence on the world with its gas exports, and
2. Prop up domestic (US etc) markets under the guise that it's necessary to combat the Ukraine situation or whatever they're trying to shill.

All of this feeds back into inflation as multinational energy corporations play musical chairs with governments in an attempt to establish new supply lines and so the cost of producing, exporting and importing increases and so too does everything else.

Adding to this fuckup it didn't help that we've had record low interest rates for the past decade which fueled an asset bubble that is now bursting.

Further.. there's the issue with China continuing to chase after zero covid (retards) which is also fueling supply chain issues.

So.. This is actually fairly easy to fix..

1. Open the door with Russia to end this retard Ukraine shit.
2. Get on the floor and raise interest rates.
3. Everybody walk the dinosaur.
