You can literally become proficient in python in a few months. After that it might take you up to a year to git gud at whatever thing you want to code in whatever language. That is taking into account that you will study coding 2-3 hours a day which isn't a lot if you're really into it.
I mean I know most people are retards but even a retard can get a coding job after a year of studying if he applies himself.

I can kinda relate as a high schooler but I found music to be more interesting as I grew up and found myself going to shows and talking to people in my city's local music scene.

After a few months of depression and living with my parents, the link price crashing and not knowing to do with my life; the tide has turned. In the beginning of September, peak depression, I sold some of my linkies (~3k) and that gave me enough money to move out. I just HAD TO leave. You can't fathom how much cutting all ties with my crazy mother and abusive stepfather meant for me to treat my depression. On top of that - I started to study philosophy, drama and creative writing. I kind of started to dip my toes into it and I finally found my talent - something I enjoy doing and something people see my potential in. I don't have a desire to do drugs or drink anymore (I used to smoke everyday, and got hammered every weekend), now I just want to improve myself physically and mentally, I don't even want to see my old drinking friends anymore, I just want a healthy productive life where I take care of my food, sleep habits, exercise... I want to preverse my mind and my body as long as possible. I finally found what I want to do in life - I want to be a writer, actor, director, philosopher, host and teacher. I found a clear goal - a clear direction and I can continue to start working on it day by day. This would have never been possible if I would have never found /biz/. You guys helped me through it all and you gave me some of the best advice I ever received in times I needed it the most. Life advice. Redpills. Support. If you're an oldfag here... and you help people out on the board, then thank you so much. It means a lot to me. I want to help out people too who are struggling with finding their way in life.
