Some of the scrap I've found, the left side is 18k and the right is 14k and I don't have pics but that silver bar started as a big mangled silver bangle with some turquoise and some mangled up silverware all stamped as 925.

Assuming it's real and in that condition, it's either the best deal you will ever see or a scam. If it's real it's worth more in its current state than as scrap. I would guess without any size reference or knowing how thick the handles are 7-10ozs once everything was scrapped. Thats roughly how much I melted last night. But I would be suspicious of that price. Wish I could give better advice but I don't know hallmarks, I don't hunt scrap online I find it at work and cut it, and acid or sigma test it there myself so I don't have to bother with hallmarks so much.

Talk to them, you might be suprised. I've got a few guys coming to me to sell scrap they find at work now since they know I collect pms.
