I have no idea what to make of the tobacco industry.
Call me a schizo but the drive to stop people smoking cigarettes/tobacco was never truly about protecting peoples health.
Gro Harlem Brundtland, who was previously the prime minister of Norway for a decade, took up a senior position with the World Health Organisation in the 90s.
She was the one to launch the global initiative against smoking, which continues today and has notably reduced the rate of tobacco consumption throughout the whole world.
The weird thing about her is that she genuinely believes that she suffers from electrosensitivity syndrome, which is pretty much confirmed to be a psychological disorder and a symptom of paranoia.
>The list of victims includes Gro Harlem Brundtland, the former director-general of the World Health Organization. In 2002, when she still held her title, Brundtland told the BBC that she didn’t allow cellphones in her office because the radiation gave her headaches.
The women who has lobbied governments against the smoking of tobacco is just some paranoid wine aunt.
