Hey /biz/, so my local movie theater reached out to me about shooting some commercials for businesses in the area (I’m a freelance videographer, I’ve done a couple small things but nothing really to this scale)

Anyway I’m having trouble coming up with a rate, we’d be shooting using all of my equipment, and the few we’ve discussed would involve me writing original commercials / shorts for the businesses as well as doing the editing, directing and other behind the scenes stuff.

When I’ve done things like this before I usually charged by the finished minute ($500 or so per minute rounding up) but because these places would be paying the theater based on time they probably want them to be as short as possible

Has anyone done anything like this before? Most of the places are fairly well off but I don’t know what a fair rate would be.

Not gonna lie, former LTC buyer here. This is fucking hilarious watching LTC crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let LTC get to about $33.fiddy
