I usually agree (my ideal car is a slow-car-fast Miata) but a Redeye/Demon is a whole different beast. Its engine is so powerful and rocket-like that it's stupid fun to launch around everywhere.

With an engine like that going straight is actually very fun. Ideally one should enjoy both nimble drifting of a small Japanese car and the stupid power of a decent (not a weak Ecoboost mustang) American muscle.
