The problem with a statistic like that is is often interpreted as "any marriage has a 50%" chance to fail, but in reality the problem is more that most marriages are made in bad decisions and ultimately fail. Basically all but the few highest IQ of my friends/acquintances that are married, basically married some very medium woman either to early or too late, mostly because of fearing never finding anyone better. If you actually get married when you are ready for it (as in out of insecure teenager mentality) and the woman is good the 50% is bullshit
