No, you can run any sunset you like. Which adds to decentralization, you don't have to run all chains. If you need all of them, then you obviously use as many physical nodes as you require because you actually need them, i.e. it has value for you.
If you think this is bad because the entire network has to run on a single computer then I'm not sure what to tell you, that's not how any relevant chain operates current, not even Bitcoin or Ethereum.
So we're already past that point. You not knowing this is kind of, scary.
