Ah, Berlin. I grew up here and can tell you that as long as you aren't fond of "hipster culture" and clubbing, you might think that this place is a libshit shithole. Check out Hermannplatz to see what I mean. It's certainly becoming one of those leftist meltingpot hellholes if it hasn't become that already. You might dig places like Kottbusser Tor if you're into that cyberpunk decay thing, though. Also, one remarkable phenomenon here ist that many people from the anglosphere settle here because they just can't afford living in their countries of origin.
