I posted earlier today about how my company reimburses up to $360 a year for gym fees, but my reimbursement was taxed. I just got my response from HR today that the reimbursement is, in fact taxed.

What the fuck kind of sense does that make? I pay $500 in gym fees this year, my company will reimburse up to $90 a quarter, $360 for the year... And then the $360 they reimburse me gets taxed at 35 fucking percent.

I legit got $200 back from my $360 gym reimbursement, but the money I used to pay for the gym was already taxed at 35 percent from my income.
