yes the great thing about options is it’s leverage without the risk of liquidation. basically the buyer of the call option makes a lot of money if number go up, but loses it all if number crabs or goes down.

the original seller of the option makes money if it crabs, but also makes money if it goes up (just not as much since the profits all go to the buyer), and loses less if the price goes down.

of course, you can make a lot more money if you just sell your calls to someone else whenever eth pumps, since the fomo in options trading is so strong. i bought some eom bitcoin calls on Jan 1st for $400 that I sold a week later for over $6000 when btc pumped from $34k to $42k. biz is still sleeping on options bc it’s "too hard to understand" kek

if you found something that works for you great, ive recently discovered that i seem to have a knack for the current bitcoin options market (it probably helps that there’s so much dumb money in it right now). i dont know how long this will last, bitcoin options only started in the US about a year ago, but at the current moment there are a shitload of people in it with less brains than me but a whole lot of money to throw around.

i remember all the emotions i had trading in 2018 and now im cold as ice, i can just imagine what a wreck the people panic-filling all my buy and sell orders must be.

the best way to use leverage is by buying IN THE MONEY call options. (LedgerX if you’re a burger.) It gives similar returns compared to margin trading except you can’t get liquidated.

For instance, right now Bitcoin is around $19k. 100 calls at a strike price of $15k costs about $500 (for the Dec 18 expiration). If it goes to $20k and you sell, you should make $1k profit from your $5k investment. So, you made +20% from Bitcoin moving up about +5% (19k->20k). That’s kind of like using x4 leverage, except a scamwick wont liquidate you because you aren’t borrowing anything. Just be sure to sell your contracts before the expiration (unless you have money to settle them yourself, as they are "physically settled").

This might sound like a pain to learn but it’s the same reward as margin trading with no risk of liquidation.

first of all, you dont have to go bankrupt to avoid paying a credit card debt. if you are delinquent the banks usually just sell your debt to collections, and there are plenty of youtube videos on how you can avoid paying those people.

i was delinquent on around $8k and the bank sent it to collections a couple years ago. they dont have any way of getting the money from me with the legal system (only the bank can do that, because in america only the entity you signed a contract with can sue you). so basically all they can do is send me letters with offers of paying back lower and lower amounts, which i throw right in thet trash of course. eventually it will go past the statute of limitations for debts. again there are youtube videos on the best way to avoid paying collections and still have a good credit rating, without bankruptcy (which is expensive to declare and a huge pain the ass).

but why not invest the money in bitcoin instead? buy now, sell in a year for a 2-5x. if you withdraw cash and then buy on localcryptos they have no way of tracking it. you can even return the money later if you don’t want to lose your bank.

The best way to make money for the next few years will be selling (and buying) options on Bitcoin. This has been closed to individual (non-rich) traders until very recently, so most people still don’t know about it, and are losing all their money on shitcoins instead. If you’re a burger ledgerx is the best/only choice.

you need to look into selling options. not buying them, SELLING them. right now the premiums for selling BTC options can easily get you +60-80% per year.
