The Graph team seems to monitor everything that happens in the Network pretty closely. Centralizing the Network is one of their core tenants, so I sincerely doubt they'd let any sort of pseudo-centralization like this fly. They probably don't want to come out and smack their top indexers directly, but if they actually tried to go through with it I'd wager they'd put a stop to it.

If you've got the future income and you don't fear that going away, then maybe that is a great option for you. I honestly had similar thoughts when I bought my ~$0.43 stack, and I'd sure have appreciated it if I had.
