I figured the same, and free Canadian trades were convenient, but a lot of stocks aren't crosslisted on the TSX, and they don't have the entirety of NASDAQ.
Like I said before, despite IBKR's bullshit, I'm really thinking about just sucking it up and opening another account there for USD shit, because I probably won't make much (considering my low starting capital) if I need to pay Questrade $5 both ways. Could also trade more easily since I'm using my TFSA right now.
