When did you realize that cryptocurrency capped out?

No new blood will ever enter.

I got in around 2016. I am from a shitty Eu country. I needed a way to evade taxes and accept US money. That is how I got into crypto. I got clients to pay me in btc.

Some time passes, and it starts pumping. I start reading about the tech and get excited about it. I start working less.

Comes 2021. Another bull rull. See the influx of normies. They just cared on pumps. Facepalm at reddit meme coins pumps. These people cant even grasp using meta mask. Some of them take months to have the ability to use binance. Useless nfts booming. I waste so much time trying to figure out a useful use case for crypto. I even develop a dapp for non custodial fiat to crypto swaps with no 3rd party and zero fees. No one cared. All the defi rug pulls. Scam CEXes.

People are too retarded for this. I can only imagine how the og cypherpunk see all the greedy plebs spouting crypto. Everyone that was stupid enough to believe in any of this already burnt himself. There is no new blood. It is over.

At least back in 2017 we were deluding ourself with a decentralized future. But 2021 was all about retarded greedy normies and their stupid nfts and metaverse games.
