it's quantopian; a while back I attempted to learn python and didn't find a reason to learn so i said fuck learning
of course, quantopian took everything i knew and fucked it all up with these new libraries and functions that need to be define; some attributes that don't need to be declared as an object to be called, strange way for it to work imo
