Bros, I’m starting to feel really down.
I have a comfy wfh job, I do nothing most days (maybe ~2 hours of work a day) which frees me up to spend time with my wife and kid, and I make a decent salary.

But, I feel so empty. I wish I could turn back time and go to med school. I wish my job had meaning, I wish I could help people. Instead I push numbers into a excel file and attend bullshit meaningless meetings.

Life is so cruel, I wish I had this vision and wisdom in my youth. But at 30 years old with a family to support it’s impossible for me to change now. Anyone else ktf?

Cold chilly nights, warm showers in a small bathroom where the warmth is trapped temorarily. A small kitchen boiling some milk for hot chocolate and to keep you warm right after exiting the shower. An upstairs with a comfy lazy boy chair next to a beautiful Christmas tree lit up with beatiful lights and ornaments. A small lit attic where the belongings are stored, a cozy attic and a place to relax should i get tired hauling things around up there. Finally the bedroom, a few Christmas lights strewn about to give a nice feel to the room, a small computer to unwind with a few fun video games, and then off to bed in thick warm blankets as the cold snow falls upon the house and gentle cold breeze rustles the evergreens outside the home.
