I currently own a property management company in a large college town. I hate it so I took a job as a loan officer with a bank that was recently purchased by one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country. $50k base, all benefits and pto and such that is non existent in small biz, and bonuses/commission anywhere from 10k to 50k. I imagine I'll make about 65k my first year, 90k my second year. Also base salary negotiations after 1 year. I know dipshits in the office clearing 100k after their first year.
I am hoping to be ground floor with this bank, and will actively work my up to a senior position.
t. Almost 30, just got married, low CoL area.
