I kind of want to spend a bit of my market winnings on a solo trip to Europe to write music and decompress a little. It would probably cost me around $2,000 to $3,000 total, but even though I have about $35k to my name it feels dumb to spend the money. Is this just some deep evolutionary mechanism that's trying to keep me from using up all my food stores for the winter or something? It feels so irrational to have the money and not spend it sometimes

Everyone I've spoken to in the country refers to it as the "Czech Republic", is there some sort of cultural argument going on over the name? I have no Czech heritage myself, I just like the country and the history of the Slavic people. How would I find people from Brno or Plzen who want to learn English, and would it pay well? I visited both cities last year and loved it
