Holder of ETH since 2017. I initially bought ethereum because smart contracts as a concept has the potential to be revolutionary. However, I've always believed that interoperability is critical to the future of smart contracts, and DOT seems to be promising that + more. I normally don't buy anything besides eth/btc/link unless the dev team is promising and the protocol solves an actual problem. DOT seems to meet these conditions, is it worth selling part of my ETH stack for DOT?

Let's talk about the DOT scaling problem. The whole parachain slots auction on DOT doesn't make any fucking sense, except for some pumping and dumping activity that results from buying and locking the required DOT. How can they compete with ADA or XLM for developers when their blockchain is not free?

Imagine if enterprise are looking to adopt Polkadot for their apps. How the fuck are they going to do it if by then all of the scamcoins have already saturated the 100 parachain slots ?

I'm having a hard time understanding this shitcoin. And also, how are you going to prevent the forming of a cartel where all the rich chads are occupying the parachain slots ? Also, Isn't that also a security issue since rich competitors can can shut down the adoption of Polkadot by buying dormant parachains ? I truly don't fucking get it
