It's still in development with the next version of the release candidate going into the Beta wallet around this friday give or take a day.

Basically what it does is provide unlinkable transactions, so you don't see a transfer of shekels directly from one wallet to another.

Would provide privacy to people, currently if your business uses Bitcoin a competitor can find out what wallet address(es) you use, and trace the transfer of bitshekels to see where they are being spent (business partners?).
