I now make ~7-10k a year off dividends on a good year, and it's only going to snowball every year from now on. I've been buying these stocks plus more between 10 years ago and today. (I'm 27). I've seen lots of portfolios with 100k+ in crypto on here before.

Why are you not putting your money in dividend stocks and letting it build up so you can "retire" in 5-10 years? Or at least have something to easily fall back on and pay your rent.

My dividends vary from 5-20%. Some are risky, some are solid. Diversify. Some of the riskier ones have paid out well for me. I hold crypto, too. But not nearly even a fraction my life savings like some of you do.

You do have cash in your brokerage account ready to buy when there is blood in the streets... right? This is exactly why I started buying stocks in 2008-2009 when I was finally old enough to. I wish I knew about crypto back then. Invest as much time in research as you do money in a company.

I think those days are over... for now. Besides, my cash flow is steady between my part time job and stocks. I've bought in at some great entry points, some not so great, but I'm making money every month and reinvesting it until I make $5000 a month. That should be in only a few more years at this rate. Best of all, it's becoming more and more passive every day.
