The project I'm on is a disaster because it has not one but two roastie project managers and an ethnic senior manager.

Roastie managers make decisions based on who they like more rather than who is competent or correct. Senior technical people keep leaving and they don't see any problem with that.

Their boss is an ethnic male who is basically a scammer, and managed to get money out of senior leadership for this project by making ridiculous promises that won't happen.

The project is falling apart and instead of any of them taking accountability they blame the senior technical people and the team for not being fast enough. The funniest part: the Boomer white men in senior leadership will probably buy their damsel in distress routine and there will be no accountability for them.
