the block explorer shows it is currently on block 44,255 and mining will end on block 100,000.
that would suggest we're almost half way through.
i think it about 1 minute per block, which means mining would be for another 34 days/7weeks.

none of what i have said i am certain about though. there are 7.5million coins and there will be a total of 30 million, which would suggest that it's 25% through, but maybe the mining reward gets more later, i don't know.

i haven't seen any concrete info about this.
