There’s a lot of marijuana growers who went from illegal careers to millionaires when marijuana became legalized in their state/country. Many who breed strong strains have made a lot of money selling those genetics to other growers.

Right now we’re seeing the same thing in mushrooms. Cubensis, cyanescens, subtropicalis, zapatecorum, natalensis, azzies, etc. these are now being crossbred to form new strains. Mushrooms grow out in 1-2 months so it’s much easier to breed them. Though you do need to learn a couple things about mycology and agar petri dishes. Very simple stuff really
