I'll probably get laughed at but I had some 12 BTC in a Mycelium wallet pre August 1st 2016 for the BCH fork.

I got busy with work for a while - have some time off now. Started trying to get my stuff in order seeing the prices, including pulling the BCH and BCG from the forks.

I used basically these instructions (brainlet):

However as far as I can see there is no BCH or BCG in my Mycelium wallet, any technical ideas what's up?

I think what they mean is that everyone always looks at something new and shiny no matter where they are. People leave their jobs to chase their dreams and sometimes they don't like the challenges and then go back to their jobs and still feel down. I don't know. But yeah keep trying to climb up.

He said that they were doing everything at the same time, all the time. Better marketing, hiring, firing, acquisitions, sales, accounting, auditing. They cranked everything to 11 at the same time and kept it there until things turned around.

Don't lose hope. You're going to get you're break, but you're not going to get it if you're not out there looking for the break.
