/biz/, I just started a new job today and feel like killing myself.

Mostly, I feel bad for abandoning a good, caring, safe company for something new.

My old job was selling train tickets for the national rail operator of my country.
Pay was mediocre but benefits and the spirit in the team were great.

My new job is in government, at my state's labor office.
I'll have to determine how much money for what period of time the unemployed get.

Pros: My commute has been halfted to 20 minutes each way and I make 1k more per month. The team seems nice so far.

Cons: Bad reputation, non-fulfilling work, convoluted responsibilities.

Will this feeling change after a while?
This has been my first job change.
