Since you say you don't know what you're doing. My advice would be just invest in the big players. Big tech names, the big oil industry players, big banks, defense industry, etc. Airline stocks like United will play out in the long run, 6months -> 1+ year. EVERYTHING is the lowest it's been in 5 years, I don't believe these bears who say it will go lower. We could dip back down to where it was 2 weeks ago, but I don't think so. You can't go wrong with the big companies who have no risk of bankruptcy, as long as you're willing to play the long game and maybe take short term losses.
