The interledger in RippleNet is independent from ODL which is XRP's function. And even then, "external" data would be useless in interledger since the only point of it is to connect bank ledgers. "bond processing" is unrelated to currency conversion. Data is already instantaneous upated in the Interledger and Ripple messenger. Theres not much more you can do for it, maybe turn 1 sec into 0.5 secx but LINK has slow tps so not a chance in hell.
RippleNet + ODL is already flawless and can not be improved. Anyone who says otherwise is grasping for straws

All this shit about smart contracts and decentralized oracles was already thought about and written by Ripple 10 years ago. Fudders do not understand the fundamental problems interledger protocol and messaging system solve vs what XRP solves. And by getting as many banks as members of Ripple tech, they are in prime slot to use XRP.
XRP will be high price because it will need to transfer large amiunts (6 figures) in 3 seconds, and there will be a limited amount on exchanges to process it, hence the higher price. The reason why ODL is slow right now is that volume and liquidity are the key. They have to have the volume gradually build up gradually. All shit too high IQ for fudders to understand
