There is a difference here, I'm not a fucking moron and I realized long ago the privacy offered by Darkcoin is actually useful. Bitcoin derives it's value from it's usefulness as a currency.

There are many imitations and other small innovations like energy efficiency and faster transactions, but those aren't useful enough to gain significant adoption, and switching will cost them money.

Now a person can have more privacy than with a bank account, compared to less with Bitcoin.
Using Bitcoin a competitor can easily see where their coins are transferred to, potentially a business partner or similar, this is less privacy than a bank. With a bank you, the bank, and your lord god Government can see where you are spending your shekels. With Darkcoin's Darksend (or the next iteration which will use CryptoNote) the Jewish banks and middlemen and government is omitted from the process. Essentially like digital cash.
